Jack J. Rose

Jack J. Rose has accumulated extensive experience over a three-decade career.

 

Jack’s career developed in the Reorganization Departments of some of the largest national and international law firms.  Jack has experience as lead counsel representing debtors in mega-cases, representing official committees, representing acquirers of assets and banks and lenders in distressed situations and bankruptcies.

 

In line with the firm's commitment to excellence, Jack personally oversees every matter, assuring that each client receives the services they have come to expect and has a single person to contact if an issue or question should arise.

 

Jack is a long-time member of the American Bar Association, the New York City Bar Association, where he is a member of the Bankruptcy and Reorganization Committee, the Commercial Law League of America, and the American Bankruptcy Institute.  Jack regularly speaks on topics involving restructuring, small business revitalization and has written a number of articles on these topics.

 

Jack has been actively involved in the restructuring industry for over thirty years and has represented clients, in many of the nation’s largest and most well-known cases, including, WeWork, Inc., Knotel, Guitar Center, Cosmoledo,  Flywheel, Neiman Marcus Group Ltd LLC, Chinos Holdings, Inc., Modell’s, Gulliver’s Gate, Peabody Energy Corporation, et al., Core Educational and Consulting Solutions, Inc., Berau, Jefferson County, Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., VMS Realty Partners, Olympia & York, Minisink Estates LLC, Reliance Group Holdings, Delta Airlines, Continental Airlines, US Airways, Long Term Capital Management.

Jack holds a J.D. from Hofstra Law School, where he was Editor of the Hofstra Law Review and Recipient of the Weintraub Resnick Award on Bankruptcy, and a BS from the State University of New York at Albany.
